- O/S - This 19cm B:B chain was created at the turn of the century in the year 2000 making it older than most of you, it features Cuban links adorned with barb like spikes on one side and flat links on reverse, making it a surprisingly comfy item of jewellery. like all beauty:beast jewellery this is a very hard to come by piece, this exclusively is due to everything of this era being hand made and sold in Japan in turn making it extremely rare in the western markets. Beauty:beast was formulated by Takao Yamashita in 1990 he was only 20 when he took the leap from academia into the world of fashion from interviews and articles it seems he mainly made the swap from school to fashion was to go against his farther and to find a outlet for his thought and struggles that came with growing up in Tokyo, this is best summed up in a quote taken form sabukaru magazine:  “clothes could visualize subtle expressions and silences that can’t be expressed in words.” His love for expression and resentment for his father ultimately lead him to clothing hierocracy with his work being referenced and copied even to this day (possibly without you even knowing) so if you want a slice of Beauty:Beast history now is your chance because I know you will never see this chain ever again ;) - no flaws unfortunately I don’t have the original box -
