- medium - This is probably one of the rarest bits I’ve had especially in this size, coming from Raf Simons 2018 autumn winter collection this whole season was dedicated to Christine (pictured on the chest), she was as a real person even though her life was romanticised with cinema and media her story is a humbling one, she moved to Berlin as a young girl this being relevant as this is where Simons was from, her parents where very neglectful, cruel and poor, leading Christine at age 13 to sell her body and sole in the now infamous zoo station. in her efforts to make a means she would meet Detlev(pictured on the back) who was a low life scumbag despite this he showed her love, this love lead her down the path of heroin robbery and adultery. This is one of my favourite Raf simons runways as it captures the loss of innocence and the butal reality of living in Berlin in the 80s - I’ve seen this peice sell for £600+ in perfect condition - this is quickly becoming a Raf Simons Grail and I’ve only ever seen the price go up ⬆️ so grab yourself a chunk of raf history before you can’t ;) -
